Daios Cove is a five-star resort overlooking a private beach in eastern Crete. For the Presidential Suite, we created a credenza, coffee table and circular rug whose abstract geometries allude to the Minoan civilization. Familiar Greek materials in a summery palette of blonde wood, lightly oxidized bronze, and off-white marble reinforce the sense of place. The result is a sensory experience that exudes serenity and quiet sophistication.
