Introducing KLEIS COLLECTION by ANAKTAE
KLEIS is a new collection of furniture and lighting based on contemporary interpretations of classical forms. A constellation of tables and consoles, seating and lighting, the KLEIS collection is designed to work in complementary configurations or as standalone statements. Each piece is essentially a movable sculpture. Their interlocking shapes fit together like keys, creating a synthesis of interchangeable forms and variable functions.
Named after asteroids for their natural surfaces, tactile shapes, and dynamic energy, the KLEIS collection is both an exercise in subtraction and a study in materiality. The angular volumes explore archetypal geometries and symbols, reduced to their fundamental elements. Raised surfaces and unpolished finishes display a reverence for the beauty and integrity of the raw materials — combed marble, brushed wood, and oxidised brass. The patina tells a story of natural processes and time-honoured craftsmanship. Available in custom sizes, materials, and finishes, every piece is individually made in Greece by master craftsmen, their expertise honed over generations.
KLEIS is an ancient Greek word meaning ‘key’. Keys symbolize breakthroughs and awakenings, they have the power to unlock potential and new possibilities, revealing our innermost truths and precious dreams. Keys also symbolize our passion for solving problems and teasing out radical new possibilities in interior and spatial design.
